Library Director, Angela Dague

 

I started serving on the Garrison Library Board in April 2012 until becoming acting director in the fall of 2013. I became the director in July of 2014. I am a State Cerified Level 3 Director. I have many life experiences that I hope will enhance my role as director. I provided daycare in my Garrison home for 17 years so I know many of the kids in town. I ran a home-based business for 16 years (Creative Memories), worked at Washington HS in the library, guidance and main offices, and lunch duty. I worked 7 years in a Cedar Rapids elementary school in a behavoral class. 

I enjoy learning new things and am eager to apply those things. I love photography, scrapbooking (both digital and traditional), gardening, cooking, crafting of all varieties, camping, graphic design, DIYing and of course, reading. I have been married 28 years to Terry. We have 7 kids, 5 kid-in-laws, 11 grandkids, and 1 great-grand!
